your daughter goes outside to a "chilly" 70 degrees, does a little shiver and says "It's soooo cold! Is it going to snow today??" I have to admit ...I was a wussy and was cold today too!
Oh I would love it to be 70! IT is in the high 20's here and snowed!!!!!!!!!!! So not ready for this - heck I don't even have a shovel...somone send me back to AZ
I was laughing last night too, when I was changing Ava into warmer clothes and put pants and a jacket on myself to go to dinner. I actually said to Brent that we were officially Arizonians when we feel the need to bundle up when its 75 degrees outside.
Lauryn is so cute, don't we just love how their little minds work.
Ha ha. Lil and I did the same thing this morning when we went outside. It's nuts how your body really does adapt to the warm weather here. I can't wait for winter clothes!
I love that she asked if it was going to snow or not. Wouldn't that be so much fun?
Bri was on the same wavelength. We had the sliding door open by her at breakfast and she came running into my room, jumped under the covers and said she absolutely could not come out until we shut that "freezing door." It was about 70 and I was loving it but alas not my poor little Arizona children.
Lauren, you'll have lot's of snow when you get home and come see Nana and Papa at the "cabinet" in Pierce. No snow there yet, but I say, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!! Love you guys, Mom and Rick
I am a wife to a wonderful husband and a mom to 2 beautiful little girls. We moved to Miami in June 2010 where Cory started his Podiatry residency. We are so proud of our new doctor!! Now we are looking forward to the new adventures living in Florida will provide!

Yeah, you know you've lived in AZ too long when it hits 70 degrees and you need a jacket. Sigh.

That's hilarious! What are you ever going to do in "freezing" 40 degree Lewiston for a month? As for us, we can't wait to enjoy the heat!
You know you live in WY when you wake up and can't see your car that's parked at the curb 20 feet away because it's snowing sideways.
*sigh*

but it's really cold here!
Even growing up in Idaho? ;) Gotta love AZ! I'm just glad we can go outside again, even if we do shiver a little...
