Ok, So I wnet to the doctor today for yet ANOTHER ultrasound to see how big the baby is. She was measuring around 6lbs 14oz. Yeah! Bad news is, her head seems to be measuring 2 weeks big! uggg...Thanks Cory for the big head gene! So the Doctor is talking about inducing me around the 26th-27th of July...2 1/2 weeks from now...Holy crap! It's all seeming so much more real now that we have a date! As of today I wasn't dialted at all so I'll be working on that now...any suggestions??
Update: Well I may be waiting for my sister Paula to get into town to be induced...around the 2nd. I hope the Dr. is ok with this! I feel like I can hold out 5 days longer. Plus it will give us more time to prepare!

Um I have no suggestions for how to dialate. I have no problem in that area!! I just do it too early! But try susan's suggestion, it is suppose to work! Or castor oil?!

DO NOT do castor oil! I was over due with Emmett, already dialated and effaced a bit and the nasty stuff was only a laxative, not an induction tool. Just exercise a lot... regardless of your method ;) and hopefully in a couple of weeks your body will be geared up, ready to go! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!
Yay! I'm so excited you are having your baby--finally! I'm just sad we won't be in AZ to come see her. We'll be in Lewiston the following weekend. Any chance you will be feeling up to a little trip North? Just kidding. We'll miss seeing you guys, though.
I think the whole sex thing is a bunch of C-R-A-P! We tried that and I still had to be induced both times. But don't worry, it's not nearly as bad as most people make it out to be. At least not for me.
I hope your L&D go smoothly. And I'm sorry about the big-headed genes. (Maybe you could use my Ellie's hat as a yarmulke for your baby girl. Keep the tradition going and all. hehehe)
